GingerDog Print Socials - privacy

GingerDog Print Socials is an in-house tool used by GingerDog Print, the 3D printing arm of Kevin Mayhew Ltd, to prepare and publish posts about our own products to our own Facebook Page, Instagram account and Pinterest account. It is not offered to anyone outside the company and has no public sign-up.

What it holds

Our product details, product photographs, the posts we write and a record of what was published and when. It also holds the access permissions that our own social media accounts have granted it, so that it can publish to them. These are kept on the server and are never shown in a web page.

What it does not hold

It does not collect, store or process personal information about members of the public, customers or other social media users. It does not read anyone else's posts, pins or boards - only the boards on our own Pinterest account, so that we can choose where a pin goes. It sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

How the access is used

Only to publish posts a member of our staff has approved, to our own accounts, and to list our own Pinterest boards. Access can be withdrawn at any time from the settings of each social media account, and doing so stops the tool from publishing.
